THE ROLL OF OMEGA

In its long history to date, Omega has chartered some 105 chapters. The following is a list of those chapters and of their members to the extent that we have a record of their names. The date given for the establishment of a chapter is generally that when its charter members were initiated. If that is not clear, then the date that its charter was granted by the Executive Council.

The roster of members is clearly incomplete. Chapters which did not register their members with the Grand Chapter are likely to be missing many members. Those initiated during the dying days of any chapter are more likely to be missing than not. And, over the years, a certain number of names were simply lost. But this roll does reflect the names of the overwhelming percentage of those who have worn the Badge of Omega Gamma Delta and, it is fair to say, all of those who have contributed significantly to its progress.

Detailed information is frequently lacking, but as much material has been included as was available. Names are arranged in order of chapter initiation when known. If not, then placed as close to the proper position as it could be guessed. Those who were transferred into, rather than initiated into a chapter, will be shown in italic type. Those who were not registered with the Grand Chapter will be marked with an *. Information on these brothers is less certain to be accurate. Limited biographical information is included on all brothers where known. Nicknames, where known will be set off by (parenthesis). First names marked with parenthesis indicate the brother uses his middle name. A few last names will be also set off in parenthesis. This indicates the name in parenthesis is a name change by court order. School Class will be designated CL 1904.
