Presently the Constitution of Omega Gamma Delta Fraternity only permits active chapters to be formed in secondary schools (high schools). In recent years the Executive Council has considered permitting chapters to be formed in colleges. Currently the regulations of petitioning for a new chapter is as follows.
Any member of the fraternity may ask the Executive Council for permission to establish a new active chapter in any community not having a chapter.
The petition for granting a new charter shall be submitted to the Executive Council and should be accompanied with full information as to:
(a) The name of all similiar societies already in the community. (b) The number of secondary school students in the community. (c) The name, address, birth date, grade in school, and extra curricular activities of each candidate. (d) The petition to be signed by at least ten (10) candidates, eight (8) of which shall not have reached Grade twelve (12) as of petition date and have met all pertinent requirement of Article III of the fraternity Constitution. (e) The regular initiation fee, as presribed under the by-laws, for each candidate shall accompany the petition. In the event a charter is not granted all fees shall be refunded.
